 Rothschild-Schofield Aquatic Center
This facility is a joint effort of the Village of Rothschild and City of Schofield which features:
*225 foot water slide
*drop water slides
*youth slide with water spray
*log walk
*lap lanes
* fountains at the zero depth
pool entry
There is a bath house with coin operated lockers and a family changing room. The temperature controlled water is ideal for children participating in swim lessons and seniors who involved in water aerobics activities.
In addition, there is a concession stand with a picnic area that includes tables, chairs, and shade umbrellas. Carry-ins are not allowed at the pool but picnic tables are provided outside the center where you can eat lunch. You can also take a break from swimming and play sand volleyball or enjoy the special children's sand play area.
The Aquatic Center is available for birthday parties and after hours gatherings. Conveniently located off I-39/Highway 51 & State Highway 29 at 1104 Park Street in Rothschild.
Adjacent to the Aquatic Center is the historic Rothschild Pavilion and access to Lake Wausau which includes an area for fishing.
